Jackie Kelly Jones

Jackie Kelly “Big Jackie” Jones, 68 year-old lifelong Seminole resident passed from this life on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born May 11, 1944 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents, Jack Jones and Laverne "Skinney" (Jordan) Jones.  Big Jackie served in the Oklahoma National Guard, a member of the Elks Lodge of Seminole, and retired as a Pulling Unit Operator for Seminole Company. Big Jackie is survived by son; Jackie Allen Jones and his wife Karen of Seminole, Oklahoma, daughter, Shelly Daigneault and her husband Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three step-sons; Martin Cargill, Mitchell Cargill both of Sasakwa, Oklahoma and Dempsey Cargill of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his first wife and mother of his children; Nancy Gordon of Seminole, Oklahoma, two sisters; Billie and her husband Andy Johnson of Seminole, Oklahoma, Cherlene and her husband Terry Yarbrough of Seminole, Oklahoma, special friend Judy Robbins of Seminole, Oklahoma, six grandchildren; Amanda Gordon of Houston, Texas, Megan White of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kayley Stamper of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gracie Collier of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Levi Croce of Seminole, Oklahoma and Jesse Allen Jones of Seminole, Oklahoma and a host of nieces and nephews. Big Jackie was preceded in death by his parents and second wife Barbara "Bobbie" (Cargill) Jones. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.  Serving as Casket bearers are: Shawn Clark, Paul Gober, Ronnie Yerby, Randy "R.D." Lozier, William "Popeye" Allison and Mike Hilton. Honorary bearers are: Dewayne Lemmings and Kagle Grandstaff.
