Jackie Freeland Davis Aka "Jack2Knives" and "Walking Eagle" was born on May 27th, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joel Patrick Davis And Katie Lee "Carpitcher" Cass. Jackie was a Tribal Member of The Great Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. He belonged to the HVTEYICVLKE (Newcomer) Band. He was of the "Wind" Clan. Jack2Knives was a resident of Maud, Oklahoma when he continued on his journey from this world to be with his Creator. Jackie graduated from Bowlegs High School and attended Murray State College. Mr. Davis was a Veteran who served in the U.S. National Guard and also served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for The Great Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and also worked for The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma as a Janitor and served many years as a Chickasaw Transportation Driver. Jack2Knives was active in Traditional Seminole "Sweat Lodging" and was their brother. Jackie was proceeded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Joe P. Davis and Tyree L. Underhill, and 1 sister: Joyce Underhill. He is survived by 3 daughters: Marilyn Davis, Rocquel Davis, and Natalie Davis all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 3 brothers: Victor Underhill of Ada, Oklahoma, Aldan Davis and Tracy Davis both from Shawnee, Oklahoma. 2 sisters: Kary Underhill of Konawa, Oklahoma and Melissa Davis from Shawnee, Oklahoma. Jackie had 10 grandchildren and a host of family, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, tradition brothers and loved ones. Rev. Jimpsey Harjo will officiate the services. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rodney Factor, David Hill, Sterling "Buddy" Wood, "Burt", and SunHawk Hill. Traditional burial will take place at the Carpitcher Family Cemetery in Wolf, Oklahoma following funeral services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral home in Konawa, Oklahoma. Funeral Service Schedule: Jackie "Jack2Knives" will be cremated according to his wishes. The family has honored his request. Jackie's remains will be taken to Rock Springs Indian Baptist Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma on Monday, February 17th, 2020 at 4:00 PM. (Lite refreshments will be served shortly after) Wake services will also be held Monday, February 17th, 2020 starting at 7:30 PM. (Supper will be served after) Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at 2:00PM. The last Traditional Meal will be served before the Funeral on Tuesday February 18th, 2020 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the main camp house on church grounds. Traditional burial ceremony will take place at the Carpitcher Family Cemetery in Wolf, Oklahoma following funeral services. Any Flowers, Cards, Mementos, may be sent to the Funeral home in Konawa or brought to the Church in Sasakwa. Any food donations or eating supplies may be brought to the Main Camp House on the North side of Chuch grounds.
