Jack Morgan

Jack L. Morgan, 85, longtime Seminole resident died, Friday, July 10, 2015 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Jack was born February 2, 1930 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Sterling C. and Lula Dale (Phillips) Morgan. Jack was owner and operator of Morgan’s Machine Shop in Seminole. Jack married Emma Joan (Cook) Morgan in September 1952, she preceded him in death. Jack is survived by his son, Joe Morgan and his wife Jana of Seminole, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Josh and Alisha Johnson of Fairview, Oklahoma, John Morgan of Seminole, Oklahoma and Tommy Oakes of Seminole, Oklahoma and two great grandchildren, Jocelynn and Justice Johnson of Fairview, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gerald and David, and one sister, Imogene Gowen. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene, 1227 Wrangler Blvd. Seminole, Oklahoma with Charles Taylor officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
