Longtime Seminole resident Alton ?Jack? Jennings Maxwell passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2007 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 78. rn rnHe was born on December 13, 1928 to Sidney Oliver and Hester Mae (Rail) Maxwell in Allen, Oklahoma. rnHe was a member of the Church of Christ at Little, Oklahoma. He worked in construction for over thirty-five years. In 1990 he retired after twenty-five years of Real Estate sales.rn rnHis parents and one brother precede him in death. G.W. Maxwell who died in the invasion of France.rn rnHe is survived by his son Jerry Maxwell of Bullhead City, Arizona, four daughters: Carolyn Sparks of Las Vegas, NV, Rebecca Maxwell of California, Cheryl Malcolm of California, and Rachelle Lewis of California. He is also survived by five brothers: Kenneth Wayne Maxwell of Ada, Oklahoma, Willis Don Maxwell of Kingston, Oklahoma, Alfred Landon Maxwell of Madill, Oklahoma, Larry Maxwell of Ada, Oklahoma and Mike Maxwell of Ft. Worth, Texas, three sisters: Helen Bernice Priest of Ada, Oklahoma, Beverly Carr of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and Debra Hatton of Allen, Oklahoma. Ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive him. rn rnPrivate family services are scheduled for Thursday, February 29, 2007.rn rnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, 100 W.
