Jack House, age 74, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away July 18, 2020 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born November 4, 1945 in Wolf, Oklahoma to parents William Edward House and Etta Lizziebeth (Young) House. He graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1963. He lived on the family homestead in Wolf, Oklahoma all his life.
Jack served his country in the United States Army for nine years. He served in Korea and at the time of the Vietnam conflict, he also served in the Army Reserves and National Guard. He worked at Canadian Valley Electric for 28 years.
Jack enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family and spoiling his grandkids.
Jack is survived by his son; William Edward House of Knox City, Texas, his daughter; Brenda Auchey and her husband Jeff of Shawnee, Oklahoma, his former wife and mother of his children; Naomi House of Shawnee, Oklahoma, his sisters; Jenny Fairbanks and her husband Mike of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Mary Hair of Las Vegas, Nevada, his brother; Scotty House and his wife Norma Jean of Shawnee, Oklahoma, five grandchildren; David Burkey of Seminole, Oklahoma, Hannah Burkey of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Tristan Cain of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Alex Cain of Del City, Oklahoma and Chance Anders of Shawnee, Oklahoma, many nieces and nephews and his best friend; Michael J. Shed of Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Jack will be at 2:00 p.m., July 23, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Jeff Nance officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be David Burkey, Chance Anders, Montana Deere, Wyatt Grinnell, Tristain Cain and Alex Cain.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
