Jack Fowler

Jackie Ray “Jack” Fowler, 61 year-old, Wewoka resident passed from this life Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at his home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.  He was born July 22, 1948 in Mesa, Arizona to parents Thomas Fowler and Rachel Lydia (Knight) Fowler.   Jack married Pamela Adams on September 3, 1982 in Texas.  He worked in the oilfield for Boone Operating Company in Wewoka, Oklahoma.   Jack was a member of the Rogue Motorcycle Brotherhood.   Survivors include his wife Pamela Fowler of the home; two sons, Joshua and Jeremey Fowler both of Seminole, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Jami and Matthew Harjo of Konawa, Oklahoma; one brother, Bruce Fowler of California; five sisters, Tommie Spice of Ohio, Jeanie Fowler of Seminole, Oklahoma, Beth Nickelson of Ohio, Sandy Barnes of California and Shirley Barnes of California; three grandchildren, Jaci and Sydni Harjo both of Konawa, Oklahoma and Hailey Fowler of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Jack is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends.   His parents and seven siblings precede Jack in death.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2009 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole with Rev. Wesley Martin officiating. Casket Bearers will be: Mike Pack, Stan Ward, Robert Merrman, Tommy Harjo, Scott Taylor, Clifton Taylor and Joe Finley.  Honorary Bearers will be: Matthew Harjo and David Hill.
