In celebration of the life of Jack Ray Bailey, funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm; Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. rnrnLongtime Seminole resident, Jack Bailey passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 82. rnrnHe was born on February 8, 1925 in Purcell, Oklahoma to William Ray ?Bill? and Frances Lydia (Neville) Bailey. He has lived in Seminole for 62 years.rnrnHe married Alma ?Sissy? (Clark) Bailey on April 26, 1945 in Seminole, Oklahoma. rnrnHe was a self-employed auto mechanic, electrician, builder and jack-of-all-trades. He was a member of the 1st Missionary Baptist Church. He built a second home at Eufaula Lake and enjoyed spending time there with family and friends.rnrnHe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alma ?Sissy? Bailey of Seminole, Oklahoma, three daughters: Jackie Bailey of McKinney, Texas, Jo Ann Anson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Judy Capps of Harrah, Oklahoma, one son, Danny Ray Bailey of Shawnee, Oklahoma, three sisters: Ollie Switzer of Norman, Oklahoma, Helen Kennan of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Nellie Sue Longworth and husband Gene of Stillwater, Oklahoma. rnrnShe is also survived by six grandchildren: Stephanie Mills of McKinney, Texas, Cary Burton and husband Loren of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Kellye Karstetter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rachelle Farkas and husband Eric of McKinney, Texas, Matt Darr of Seminole, Oklahoma, Sandra ?Sissy? Bailey of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
