Konawa resident, Isaiah Fixico, 39, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Seminole.
Isaiah, the son of Benjamin and Deborah (Harjo) Emarthle, was born March 1, 1985, in Seminole. After growing up in Seminole County, he lived all around the state, his last days were spent in Pollock, Louisiana, and Beaumont, Texas. When he was young he played baseball and football for Wewoka Little Tigers; he was a member of the Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church of Justice, Oklahoma, where he was baptized as a young boy; he was a part of the Swear Longe, while he was incarcerated, and he was a tribal drummer. His latest hobby was making new memories with his family. He enjoyed listening to 1990’s rap/underground music, making jokes about his nephew Teegan always quoting him, “don’t do that!”, and watching YouTube all day. Isaiah was always a strong and stern man, who loved his family and friends. He loved the color orange and the number 7, and he always stood on business of his and never backed down from anything. He was the definition of Real.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Sue Emarthle; his son, Cauis Chewey Fixico; and a brother, Ricky Don Harjo.
Isaiah is survived by his father, Benjamin Emarthle; a brother and niece, Adjal Dewayne Fixico and his daughter, of Seminole; a sister and nieces and nephews, Kimberly Dawn Emarthle and her five sons and two daughters, of Seminole; along with numerous other family members and friends.
