Isaac Otis Brannon

Isaac Otis Brannon, 74, Longtime Shawnee Resident, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Isaac was born September 12, 1943 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Isaac Edward Brannon and Juanita Odessa (Lawrence) Brannon. Isaac was a warehouse foreman for Shawnee Mills in Shawnee, Oklahoma and had worked for them over 36 years. He loved rodeos and bull riding. He attended Galilee Baptist and Union Missionary Churches in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was a Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Isaac married Rhonda A. Crain on March 5, 2008 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Isaac is survived by his wife Rhonda Brannon of the home in Shawnee, 5 sons; George Charles Brannon , Johnny Taylor, Isaac Otis Brannon, Jr., Robert Brannon, Sr. and Terri Price all of Shawnee, Oklahoma and his step son Jarrod Jackson and Jessica Galindo of Shawnee, Oklahoma, 4 daughters; VerDonna Brannon of Miami, Florida, Diana Brannon and Roderick Meals of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Demetria Gibson-Brannon of Round Rock, Texas  and his step daughter Alisha Tramble-Jackson of Norman, Oklahoma, Aunt Juanita Brannon of Shawnee, Oklahoma and over 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Isaac was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James O. Brannon, Sr. and a grandchild, Shayla Kizzee. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 1451 E. 45th Street in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Wilbert Tripplett officiating. Casket bearers will be: Jarrod Jackson, John L. Brannon, James O. Brannon, Jr., Mark Tramble, Sr., Isaac O. Brannon, Jr. and Robert Brannon, Sr. Honorary bearers will be: Thomas Griffis, Robert Brannon, Jr., Jeff Bennett, Cory Bennett, Rico Brannon and Willie Raynor. Flower bearers will be: Diana Brannon, Demetria Gibson-Brannon, VerDonna Brannon, Alisha Tramble-Jackson, Briana Brannon and Markita Payne. Honorary flower bearers will be: Ebony Brannon, Tanisha Talton, Tina Talton, Rachelle Brannon, Rakayla Brannon and Quenish Pounds. The family would like to thank Angelic Family Hospice for the special care they gave Isaac and to special friend, Wendell Johnson for the love and support he has given them in their time of need.
