Irene Burris

Irene Burris, 83, longtime Seminole resident died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at her home in Seminole. Irene was born April 8, 1928 in Lima, Oklahoma.   Irene was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church  in Seminole and Scipio Church of New Lima. She is survived by five sons, Alonzo Burris of Edmond, Oklahoma, Michael Burris of Konawa, Oklahoma, John Burris of Seminole, Oklahoma, Willie Burris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Wallace Burris of Monmouth, Illinois, four daughters Rose Burris of Seminole, Oklahoma, Patsy Love of Edmond, Oklahoma, Yolanda Burris of Dallas, Texas and Marshell Burris of Seminole, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Theopliuis Williams and Sister Mea Etta Young. And her husband Lorenzo Burris Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
