Irby Gene Butler, 61, former Seminole resident, passed away August 30, 2019 in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. Irby was born October 21, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska to Tommy Lee Butler and Dolores D. Jones. Irby grew up in Seminole, Oklahoma and graduated from Seminole High School and then attended Connors State College. He had lived in New Jersey for the past 30 years, where he was a Chef. He loved cooking and sports. Irby served his country in the United States Army. Irby is survived by his mother; Dolores D. Jones of Seminole, Oklahoma, his son Andre Graham of Davie, Florida, his brother Marcus Butler of Los Angeles, California and one grandson Dahntay Graham, and several other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother; Roland Neal. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Rev. Ron Leggins will officiate the service and Rev. Bobby Curry will provide music for the service. Casket Bearers will be Reginald Knighton, Demetrius Burris, Tagzmin Cudjoe, Terrance Neal, Andre Graham and Marcus Butler.
