Inez Ridings

Inez Estas (Stubbs) Ridings, 86 year-old, Seminole resident passed from this life May 22, 2009 at Solara Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born June 22, 1922 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents T.E. Stubbs and Martha Estas (Tigner) Stubbs.rnrnInez graduated from Seminole High School. During World War II she worked for Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa and then at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City where she was a clerical worker. Later she worked Judge Walter Billingsly at Seminole County.rnrnInez married Munroe Ridings and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Seminole Church of Christ.rnrnInez is survived by one daughter, Martha Burch of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three brothers, Hilton Stubbs of Ardmore, Oklahoma, J.N. Stubbs of Denison, Texas, George Stubbs of Colvert, Oklahoma; five sisters, Johnnie Collins of Seminole, Oklahoma, Clara Streeter of Mustang, Oklahoma, Annette Myrick of Seminole, Oklahoma, Mary Cullison of Seminole, Oklahoma, Eva Black of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Marvena and Shronda; several great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnInez is preceded in death by her Parents; her husband; one brother, T.E. Stubbs, Jr.; and by one sister, Ethelda Brinker.rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma.
