Ima Edwards

Ima Mae Edwards Ima Mae Edwards, a Seminole county resident for 65 years passed away in Norman, Oklahoma, Friday, July 31, 2009 at the age of 85. Ima was born September 8, 1923 at Brecken Ridge, Texas. She was a home maker and a member of the Seminole Church of Christ. Ima married Thurman H.Edwards, Sr. on April 28, 1942 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She is survived by son: Thurman Edwards of Seminole, Oklahoma and daughters: Angela Ledford of Many, Louisana and Sandra Edwards of Norman, Oklahoma.  She is also survived by three sisters: Bernice Arvin of Ft. Worth, Texas, Bertha O’dell of Edmond, Oklahoma and Violet Kruta of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and four grandchildren: Kim Pope, Houston, Texas; Suzanne Young of Piedmont, Oklahoma; Nedra Rice of San Antonia, Texas and Chris Plummer of McKinney, Texas.  Ten great grandchildren also survive Ima. Ima was preceded in death by: parents, Dan and Hazel Haught; brother, Edward Pierce and sister Helen Trebe. Memorial Service for Ima will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Seminole Church of Christ.
