Ilda Mae Presley, 86, longtime Seminole resident died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Ilda Mae was born April 13, 1927 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Elmar Oscar and Ida Mae (Justice) Henson. Mrs. Presley was a bookkeeper for Ray Presley Welding and Ray Young Well Service for many years. She received her master’s degree in Business Education, and taught business courses at Maud High School and later at Seminole High School where she retired. Mrs. Presley was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole where she was very active. She married Ray Presley at the First Baptist Church in Seminole on June 26, 1948 and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1996. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Roger and Lou Presley of Euless, Texas and two daughters and sons-in-law Rita and Ken Baker of College Station, Texas and Ruth Ann and Philip Larman of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one sister Wynona Pickard of Brownwood, Texas and her six grandchildren Scott Presley, Sherry Jennings, John Hixon, Trace Larman, Chad Larman, Alana Presley and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Presley and one Son Ray “ Skip” Presley on September 18, 1998. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Marvin Kehl officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
