Ida Mae (Chupco) Martin, 80 year old longtime Maud resident passed from this life on Sunday, June 25, 2006 in Catoosa, Oklahoma. She was born in Oklahoma to parents, Billy Chupco and Millie Ann "Annie" (Bemo) Chupco.rnrnIda married Bois Martin on September 29, 1942 in Konawa, Oklahoma. They lived in Maud where Ida was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker and had owned & operated the Maud Cafe on Main Street in Maud for a few years.rnrnMrs. Martin is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tex & Martha Martin of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Gerald & Kathy Martin of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo daughters, Nancy Hurst of Hockley, Texas and Sandra Ryan of Catoosa, Oklahoma.rnrnOne sister, Betty and husband, Jess Love of Talahina, Oklahoma. 14 grandchildren and several great and great, great, grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bois Martin in May of 1982. One daughter, Deloris Palmer in May of 1995 and one infant son, Joseph Martin in 1963.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma. Rev. Tim Martin will officiate the service.
