Howard Lonzo "Junior" Yancey longtime Seminole resident, age 82, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home. rnrnHoward was born September 15, 1925 in Seminole to Richard Lonzo (Lon) and Lillie Lorene (Ross) Yancey. rnrnHoward was retired from the Seminole Oil Fields, where he was a truck driver for Bariod Oil Services for many years.rnrnHoward is survived by seven daughters and their spouses: Dolly Kelough of Salina, Oklahoma, Margaret McNeill of Seminole, Shirley Castle and her husband Kenneth of Seminole, Judy Roberts and her husband Jerry Al Roberts of Seminole, Lillie Davidson and her husband Darryl of Alamo, Texas. Dorothy Marlow and Husband Leon of Wolf, Oklahoma and Patricia Whitham and husband John of Oklahoma City, Okla.rnrnHe is also survived by son-in-law Buddy Gore and daughter-in-law Angie Yancey. Step-daughters Teresa Brown of Shawnee, Okla. and Trina Self of Seminole, Okla.rnstep-son Jamie Self, his ex-wife Ruth Yancey. Five brothers, Clint "Sonny" and wife "Linda Yancey of Seminole, Oklahoma, Vernon Yancey and his wife Mildren, Carl (Bo) Yancey and his wife Winnie, Don Yancey and Bobby Yancey all of Seminole. Two sisters, Juanita Frazier of Bowlegs, Okla. and Mary Allen and her husband Wayne Allen of Wewoka, Okla.rn30 Grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.rnrnHe was preceded in death by the Mother of his children, Laura (Brown ) Yancey, his parents Richard Lonzo (Lon) and Lillie Lorene Yancey, three sisters, Katerine Kay, Patricia Yancey, and Helen Earles. One son, Howard Lee Yancey, Four daughters, Betty Lozer, Sheila Gore, Linda Yancey and Deloris Yancey.
