Longtime Seminole county resident Hershel Huskins passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 69. rnrnHe was born on January 23, 1938 in Ft. Towsen, Oklahoma to Samuel Glen and Dorothy Estell (Melton) Huskins. rnrnHe married Jessie ?Faye? (Jackson) Huskins on December 20, 1957 in Shafter, California. rnrnHe was a repairman for General Motors for over thirty years working in California and Oklahoma City. He retired in 1993. He was a member of the Highway Baptist Church in Little, Oklahoma. rnrnHis parents and one brother precede him in death. rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Jessie ?Faye? Huskins of the home, two sons and a daughter-in-law: Dale Huskins of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Hershel Dean and Melanie Huskins of Shawnee, Oklahoma, two daughters and sons-in-law: Anna and Chuck Allen of Canton, Ohio and Amber and Dave Garrison of Eufaula, Oklahoma, one sister and brother-in-law: Edith and Troy Cunningham of Coolidge, Arizona. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren: RJ, Shannon, Christopher, Chad, Brandon, April, Joshua, Kylie, Nicole, Nicholas, Nathan and Nolan and eight great grandchildren: Timothy, Julianna, Bricen, Sean, Abigail, Ruben, Alexis and Katherine. rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Highway Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. rnrnPallbearers will be: Brandon Huskins, R.J. Allen, Christopher Huskins, Chad Huskins, Nathan Hardin, Nolan Hardin, David Unruh and Dale Haskins.rnrnHonorary bearer will be: Nicholas Hardin.rnrnrnrn Funeral Information: December 28, 2007, 11:00 AM
