Henry Ellis "Hank" Jolley , age 103 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
No memorial service is planned and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
He was born September 25, 1917 in Macomb, Oklahoma to Louie Benton Jolley and Elsie Matilda (Osborne) Jolley. He married Opal Marie Herriman on September 25, 1940 in Konawa. He worked most of his life as a truck driver and served his country proudly in the United States Army. Hank loved and raised horses, and he loved to do two-step dancing. He was a loving and proud man who always had a joke ready to tell.
He is survived by one son, Gerald Jolley of Cushing, Oklahoma; three daughters, Henryetta “Retta” Brawdy of Seminole, Glenda Martin of Enid, Oklahoma, and Debbie Walker of Konawa; one sister, Gladys Anderson of Asher, Oklahoma; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Jolley; his parents, Louie and Elsie Jolley; five brothers and three sisters.
