Helen “Florita” (Smith) Wyatt, age 74 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, peacefully passed Saturday, May 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a long struggle with Multiple System Atrophy. A memorial celebration of life is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Richard Winters will officiate, and honorary casket bearers are Roger McClure, Monte Yerby, Donnie Kiker, Burnis Fisher, Jack Russell, and Mike Boren. Florita was born December 10, 1943, in Prague, Oklahoma to Sidney R. Smith and Pansy H. (Broyles) Smith. September 7, 1961, Florita married the love of her life, Carl Forrest Wyatt. Florita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother as well as a friend. She was a faithful member of the Konawa Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Carl F. Wyatt of the home; two sons, Tim Wyatt and wife, Elaine of Jenks, Oklahoma, and Kevin Wyatt and wife, Teresa of Konawa; one daughter, Shelley Cagle and husband, Colby of Stillwater, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Pansy Smith, and one brother, Duane Smith.
