Helen Winlock

Helen A. (Young) Winlock, 79 year-old, Seminole resident passed from this life on January 2, 2010 in Seminole County, Oklahoma.  She was born February 25, 1930 in Coalgate, Oklahoma to parents Arthur Young and Gay (Henderson) Young. Helen graduated from Coalgate High School and worked as a private nurse.  She enjoyed gardening flowers, rock hunting and garage sales. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Simon and Stacie Winlock of McLoud, Oklahoma; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ebony & Darrel Wilkes of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Wanda Howard and Tarry Epperley both of Seminole, Oklahoma and Sandy & David McCart of Holdenville, Oklahoma; one brother, Willie Osborn of Lehigh, Oklahoma; three sisters, Charlene Isom and Hazel Foreman of Coalgate, Oklahoma and Claudette & Leman Holliway of Ada, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive her as do a host of other family and dear friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Rev. Larry Chesser officiating.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
