Helen B. Jones, 89   Helen B. Jones, former Seminole Oklahoma resident, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89. Helen was born on November 23, 1922 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Oliver B. and Ava Cook. Helen grew up in Seminole, Oklahoma and graduated from Seminole High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Helen retired in 1985 after 35 years working for AT&T as a Plant Assigner, for many years she served as a volunteer for Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.   Helen loved to travel especially overseas with her special friends, Esther Fowble and Wanda Brazier.   Helen is survived by her son, Billy Jack Jones of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.   Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Ava Cook, husband, Lewis Jones, one brother, Weldon Cook, two sisters, Genny Briery and Becky Duke.   Viewing for Helen will be held 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home at 1001 N. Milt Phillips of Seminole, Oklahoma. Private family burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery of Seminole, Oklahoma.   Family has requested that all donations be made to: Alzheimer’s Research P.O.
