Hazel Fowler

Hazel Marie Fowler, 94 Hazel Marie Fowler, long time Seminole resident passed away, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of 94. Hazel was born August 10, 1920, in Boswell, Oklahoma to parents, Doc Gillespie and Ruby (Barker) Gillespie. Hazel lived in Seminole, Oklahoma for 47 years. She worked as a cook and nurse's aide at nursing homes and worked in farming at their home. Hazel was married to Roy Fowler on June 11, 1935 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a member of the Church of God of Seminole. Hazel is survived by one daughter, Mary Gambill of Iowa Park, Texas and one son, Freddie Fowler of Wichita, Falls, Texas, a brother Richard Gillespie of Eufaula, Oklahoma, a sister Mary Fisher of Texas, twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Little Cemetery, Little, Oklahoma, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
