Hazel Janet (Stidham) Chadick, age 96, and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate, and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Casket bearers are Remington Westmoland, Michel Westmoland, Tommy Chadick, and Daniel Khoury. Hazel was born October 27, 1921 in Patterson, Oklahoma to Charles Hurbert Stidham and Mattie (Cooper) Stidham. She married Harold Lee Chadick December 31, 1940 in Wewoka. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the VFW Auxillary. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed deeply. The family wishes to give a special “Thank you” to Elmwood Manor of Wewoka, Aspire Home Health of Ada, and Holdenville Hospital for all of the loving care given to Hazel. She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Carole Chadick; two grandchildren, Shanda Navarro and husband, Juan, and Marcie Chadick; three great grandchildren, Bailey, Alex, and Edward; three great-great grandchildren, Brightyn, Reed, and Jameson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mattie Stidham; husband, Harold Chadick; and one son, Edward Chadick.
