Harvey Allen Green

Harvey Allen Green, age 79 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away from this life Friday, October 26, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospital of Shawnee, Oklahoma. A celebration of life is scheduled for 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17th at Leo and Debbie Kuestersteffen’s home.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Harvey was born January 9, 1939 in Jellico, Tennessee, to Wayne Green and Irene (Cazzel) Green.  He proudly served is country in the U.S. Navy from January, 1956 until December, 1959.  While in the Navy, he received his G.E.D.  He married Alma Lee Mullins and worked as an Off-shore Electrical Supervisor.  Harvey loved to go fishing, and he loved helping friends. He is survived by one son, Harvey Allen Green, Jr. of Konawa; one daughter, Billie Fleck of Konawa; three brothers, Earl, David, and Homer Green; three sisters, Nora Lynch, Patricia Owen, and Phyllis Slade; two grandchildren, Ben Fleck and Jennifer Garlington; and six great grandchildren, Rebecca, Benjamin, Katie, Brandon, Cody, and Savannah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Irene Green; his wife, Alma Lee Green; and two daughters, Vickie Rummel and Diane Lynn Green.
