Harry Otho Thomas, age 81, resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011. Harry Thomas was born on February 12, 1930 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charles Edwin and Altha Mae (Jameson) Thomas. He was married to Jerry Lanelle Polly on December 24, 1952. His loving wife Jerry preceded him in death, April 1, 2001. Harry was a production foreman for Pure Oil Company and Union Oil 76 (Uncal) for over 31 years, working in Moab, Utah, Worland, Wyoming and Fort Morgan, Colorado. Harry was a City Councilman, Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star Chapter # 54, 33 degree Mason, Past Master of the Rocky Mountain Consistory # 1, Grand Cross of Color for Rainbow Girls Town Marshall for Log Lane, Colorado, Eagle Scout Leader and US Government Weather Observer. Harry and Jerry moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 1983. He purchased Harry & Jerry’s Stop-N-Go where they loved to laugh, fish and garden. Harry had a great love of life and we will all miss him dearly. Harry is survived by his brother Johnny Thomas of Norman, Oklahoma and his sister Loretta Long of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his four children Harry Otho Thomas, Jr. of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Susie Reagan of Seattle, Washington, Wilda Mae Bray of Eufaula, Oklahoma and Curtis Lewis Thomas of Seminole, Oklahoma, his grandchildren, Otho Charles Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Kelly Beck, Krista Reagan, Ray Reagan, Thomas Reagan, Zachary Bray, Jessica Bray, Rebecca Bray, Austin Thomas, Ashtin Thomas and Kaden Thomas and his five great grandchildren, Maddie Thomas, Jaxon Thomas, Trae Taylor, Kenley Taylor and Colby Taylor and his loving dog, Kizer. Harry was preceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Alta-Mae Thomas, one brother, Raymond Thomas and granddaughter Katelyn Bray. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole. Donnie LeForce and Johnney Long will officate at the service. Casket bearers will be Grandson. Honorary bearers will be Ray Reagan, Kaden Thomas, Trae Taylor and Colby Taylor.   Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
