Harold Noah Mann, age 83 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away from this life Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 at Vamoosa Cemetery East of Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate. Viewing will began Wednesday, May 3rd at the funeral home. Harold was born March 7, 1934 in Konawa to Richard Wiley Mann and Alta (Fleming) Mann. He graduated from Konawa High School, and he proudly served in the U. S. Air Force from 1952 until 1956. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a machinist for Solo Manufacturing Company in Ada where he worked for eighteen years. He also went to California and worked on high-end hot rod motors. Harold loved dogs and birds, and he loved building things out of wood like bird feeders. He had also read his Bible all the way through several times. He is survived by three sons, Richard Mann, James Mann, and Andrew Mann, all from Ada, Oklahoma; one sister, Sally Carr of Oakman, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Alta Mann.
