Harold Joseph Haddican Harold Haddicana a Seminole, Oklahoma resident for the last 19 years passed away in Seminole, Oklahoma, Monday, August 3, 2009 at the age of 87. Harold was born June 11, 1922 at Satanta, Kansas to parents Walter Paul and Mary (Schmitz) Haddican. Harold was self-employed and he retired from Masonry work in 1990. He was a professional baseball player, playing in the minor leagues and for the Pittsburg Pirates. Harold was in the United States Navy serving as a Gunners Mate 3rd Class, a member of the Association of Professional Ball Players of American and a member of the Catholic church. Harold is survived by two brothers: Glenn Haddican of Banning, California and William and his wife Dana Haddican of Seminole, Oklahoma and by his nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine who passed away July 13, 1994, his parents; brother Gene Haddican and sister Marie Kennedy. Graveside funeral services for Harold will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma with Chaplain Steve Mayhan officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 3, 2009 for 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Tuesday, August 4, 2009 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 4, 8:00 a.m. to time of service.
