Harold Edward Glover

Harold Edward Glover, age 84 and a life-long resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Grace Living Centers in Norman, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Assembly of God Church located at 205 W. 3rd in Konawa, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Steve Lowrance will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemtery.  Casket bearers are Matt Glover, Brent Glover, Jarrod Glover, John Glover, Nathan Pezant, and Adam Rowden. Harold was born on March 3, 1934 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Thelbert T. Glover and Myrtle (Tynes) Glover.  He worked as a heavy equipment foreman for Patrick Construction Pipeline in Shamrock, Texas.  Harold married Audrey “Kathern” Hendrix.  After her passing, he later married Jennie Ann (Ravan) Hinman.  He was a member and a former Board Member of the Konawa Assembly of God Church. Harold loved making a living for his family, going to church, and traveling. He is survived by two sons, Dewayne Glover and wife, Sharon of Norman, Oklahoma, and Dennis Glover and wife, Tammie of Konawa; one daughter, Sonya Pezant and husband, Paul, Jr. of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; one sister, Joyce Trabue of Bakersfield, California; nine grandchildren, Matt Glover and wife, Monica, Brent Glover, Jarrod Glover, John Glover and wife, Ashley, Nathan Pezant and wife, Sarah, Jessica Glover, Janey Rowden and husband, Adam, Lynn Spaulding and husband, Wade; Nikki Lovelace; and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelbert and Myrtle Glover; his first wife, Kathern Glover; his second wife, Jennie Glover; one grandchild, Lacie Glover; one great grandchild, Bentley Glover; two brothers and two sisters.
