Harold Foreman

Harold Bruce Foreman, Sr., 71, longtime Maud resident, died Saturday, May 17, 2015 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.   Harold was born on November 1, 1943 in Muskegon, Michigan to Cora Althea (Woodward) and Guy Lester Foreman, Sr.   He had lived in Pottawatomie County for over 50 years   Harold served in the National Guard and was a Certified Nurse Assistant in Home Health.  He also attended the Assembly of God in Maud, Oklahoma.   Harold is survived by three sons Scott Foreman of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Vincent Foreman and his wife Angela of Maud, Oklahoma and Bruce Foreman, Jr. , one daughter Tina Darty and her husband Wayne of Maud, Oklahoma., two sisters Darlene Haley of Choctaw, Oklahoma and May Castle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and his grandchildren; Trinity Foreman, Jeremy Marland, Zachary Foreman, Brendan Foreman, Chelsea Foreman, Joshua Foreman, Cheyenna  Foreman, Austin Kain Foreman, Gena  Darty and Wayne Darty, Jr. and great granddaughter, Alexis Foreman.   He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Guy Foreman, Jr. and a sister Karolyn Rackley.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the First Assembly of God Church in Maud, Oklahoma with Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Burial will take place at Cummings Cemetery at Maud, Oklahoma.   Casket bearers will be; Wayne Darty, Sr., Vance Kain, Cody DeCarr, and Mike Bussey. Honorary bearers will be Wayne Darty Jr. and Lucas DeCarr.   In lieu flowers, donations may be made to the Harold Foreman Family, in care of Swearingen Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud, Oklahoma.
