Harold Doyle Davis, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away at the age of 71 in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born October 11, 1949 in Prague, Oklahoma to parents Roy and Ola (Behrnes) Davis. He moved with his family to Seminole when he was 8 years old and spent the rest of his life there. He graduated from Seminole High School in 1968. Doyle married Candy Dodgen on December 13, 1968 in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Doyle worked as a cementer for Eastern Oilwell Cementing. He enjoyed watching westerns on television and sleeping.
Doyle is survived by his wife of 52 years, Candy Davis of the home in Seminole, Oklahoma, his son; Mike Davis and his wife Joy of Shawnee, Oklahoma, daughters; Marcia Morris and her husband Danny of Edmond, Oklahoma and Melissa Harris and her husband Greg of Seminole, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Brad and Maddie Davis, Shelby and Trey Childers, Jeremiah, Ethan and Hunter Westmoland, Hailee Harris and Emily and Megan Morris and twin great-grandchildren on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Pauletta Vulgamore.
Memorial services for Doyle will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with John Johnson officiating.
