Harold Lloyd Cross, 90, entered into eternal life with Christ, August 31, 2021. Harold was a longtime resident of Seminole, born in the Tide Water Boom camp south of Seminole on June 26, 1931. He worked at Bethlehem Supply, Industrial Supply, and finally retired from Republic Supply in 1992.
Papa loved Jesus, and his family is a reflection of that. He married the love of his life, Pauline Blair on April 19, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking, but most of all he loved when all of the family would come to his house and celebrate all the birthdays and holidays. At home he loved sitting in the carport with Granny, drinking ice water, watching the cars pass by knowing it wouldn’t be long till granny would be out in the yard picking weeds because she doesn’t like seeing them in her yard. Granny was the love of his life for 67 years and Papa taught us all how to love to the very end. Papa lived a life we all hope to live. 90 years God gave him and he used all of his time to make this world a better place. You could ask Papa what he wanted most in his life and he would say “I already have it” and would point at Granny.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Tula Cross and his brother RL Cross. Harold is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pauline Cross; children Donna Shepherd and husband Doug, Joyce Anderson and husband Danny, Robert Cross and wife Tammy. His grandchildren Jennifer Panter and husband Adam, Michael Shepherd and wife Karli, Emily Heavener, Jacob Anderson and wife Kali, Katie Jones, Eric Cross and wife Dusti, Josh Cross, Natasha Stewart and husband Kaleb, Nathan Cross and wife Kyla, and Kane McKee.
