Harold Eugene Brewer, 64, Maud, Oklahoma resident died Friday, January 20, 2012 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Harold was born July 20, 1947 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Clyde Carlton and Velma (Williams) Brewer. Harold worked in the Seminole area oilfields most of his life. He had moved back to the area from Mt. Pleasant, Texas in 1975. Harold was a member of the St. Louis Baptist Church and had served in the U.S. Air Force. Harold married Zella Lorene (Wise) Brewer on September 14, 1973 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas; she survives him of the home. In addition to his wife Zella, he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Lori Brewer,James and Alesha Brewer and John and Sarah Brewer all of Maud; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and James Ray Deatherage of Maud, Oklahoma and Valerie and Patrick Williams of Okemah, Oklahoma.; three brothers Tom and Wanda Brewer of Byers, Oklahoma, Carl Brewer of Newcastle, Oklahoma and Earl Brewer of Newalla, Oklahoma, four sisters Ester Alexander of Norman, Oklahoma, Shirley Gurley of Jones, Oklahoma Jean and Larry Sterns of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Ruby and Gerald Lee of Mustang, Oklahoma and 15 grandchildren; Jordan, Cole, Breanna, Casey, Devin and Braxton Brewer, Ethan, Wacey, Lane, Payden Williams, Colton Deatherage and Amber Deatherage, Brandon Ray, Vanessa Ray and Rodney Ray and two great grandchildren Trevor and Treyton Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Glen and Walter Brewer, sisters Lola Tombs and Nadine Gates, Son Michael Kelley and a brother and sister-in-law Billy and Shirley Wise. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the St. Louis Baptist Church in St. Louis, Oklahoma with burial at Vamoosa, Oklahoma, with military honors. Rev. Glen Peck and Frank Brewer will officiate at the services. Casket bearers will be Nolan Dodson, Luther Anderson, Steve Nail, Ty Dean, Jim Taff and James Votaw with Randy Harjo serving as honorary.
