Harley Conatser

Harley F. “Buddy” Conatser, 77 year old Seminole resident, passed from this life Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home in Seminole.  He was born January 19, 1937 in DE Queen, Arkansas to parents Oriel Fester Conatser and Bertha Mae (Halter) Conatser. Harley married Hazel Mae (Panick) Conatser on August 19, 1960 in Spearman, Texas. Harley was of the Baptist faith.  He had worked for Joe Mills Well Service in Seminole until his retirement in 1990. Harley leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years, Hazel Conatser of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Harley G. Conatser and his wife Teresa of Seminole, Oklahoma, Gary Conatser of Seminole, Oklahoma, Roger and his wife Lisa of Yukon, Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Smith and her husband John of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Karla Leonidou and her husband Costa of Wheatland, California; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other dear family and friends. Harley is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Nelda Johnston; one brother, David Conatser and by one daughter-in-law, Tina Conatser. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2014 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastors Jim and Nita Moreland officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.,Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. The family wishes to extend a heart felt Thank You to "Visiting Angels" and to "Heavenly Hospice" for the outstanding care given to Harley.
