Gwendolyn Ann Edgell

Memorial services for Seminole resident Gwendolyn  Ann (Wisdom) Edgell will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jack Medlock officiating.Gwen passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Seminole County at the age of 68. She was born on July 25, 1939 in Criner, Oklahoma to Ancel and Betty (Hardage) Wisdom. She worked for many years at Seminole High School and retired from Seminole State College where she was in food service. She attended every baseball game of Seminole Junior College and was a big fan.She married Hugh "Don" Edgell on June 1, 1957 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and he survives her of the home. She is also survived by two sons: Mike Edgell of Vilonia, Arkansas and Kevin and his wife Teresa Edgell of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, two daughters: Lori McKinney of Seminole and Kristy and husband Rick Calhoun of Oktaha, Oklahoma, one brother, Tom and wife Terey Wisdom of Lindsay, Oklahoma, two sisters: Beth Kessler of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Elaine and husband Bernie Garner of Jarrettsville, Maryland and brother-in-law: Walter Edgell of Sparta, Wisconsin. Four grandchildren, Trent and Dalton Martin of Oktaha, Oklahoma, Rachel and Jessica Edgell of Galva, Illinois. She is preceded in death parents: brothers-in-law: Bud Kessler and Leroy Edgell.
