Grace M. Williams, 94 year old Seminole resident passed from this life Thursday, February 8, 2007 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born March 4, 1912 in Weiser, Idaho to parents Arminta (Madewell) Phillips and Tom Phillips.Grace married Ernest L. Williams in Sapulpa, Oklahoma he preceded her in death in May of 1967. Grace was a Seminole resident who moved to Seminole in 1928 and lived here until she moved to Bell, California in 1953. She worked for Newberry's Department Store in Bell, California for 17 years as a sales clerk until she moved to Ottawa, Kansas in 1970. In 1973 she returned back to Seminole. She was baptized at the Church of Christ on the corner of Park & Seminole Street in Seminole. Grace is survived by two daughters, Lucille Houck of Seminole, Oklahoma and Tommie Ingram of Ottawa, Kansas. Ten grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 33 great great grandchildren. Grace is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest Williams (May, 1967), one son, Leroy Williams (July, 2003), two brothers, Charles and Chester Phillips, two sons-in-law, Elvin Houck (February, 1995), Tom Ingram (December, 1995), one grandson, Roy A. Ingram (September, 1982) and one great great granddaughter, Kaliece Brinsfield (2000). Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 12, 2007 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Tom Tripp and Chris Stinnett will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole. Casket bearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
