Grace Lee Johnson Dailey, 88 Grace Lee (Johnson) Dailey, long time Seminole county resident, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the age of 88 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Grace was born May 30, 1929 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Billy Johnson and Cinda (Coker) Johnson. After graduation from high school she was a post graduate student at Commercial Haskell Institute. Grace worked as a clerk and stenographer for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and she was of the Baptist faith. Grace served on the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma General Council, a member of the Mekusukey Band for 13 years and a member of the Mekusukey Baptist Church. Grace married Calvin Coolidge Dailey on January 12, 1952 at Bennett Chapel in Lawrence, Kansas. Grace is survived by two sons; Randall G. Dailey of Hominy, Oklahoma, Kelley R. Dailey of Seminole, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Mary G. Dailey, Darrell Dailey, Cinda Dailey, Eric Dailey, Matthew Dailey and Omosai Hokte Dailey and one great grandchild, Samuel Downing. Grace was preceded in death by her parents Billy and Cinda Johnson; husband, Calvin C. Dailey and son, David C. Dailey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. George Harjocee officiating. Burial will take place at Little Cemetery, Seminole county, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Darrell Dailey, Erick Dailey and Joshua Downing.
