Gordon Ray Williams, 71 Gordon Ray Williams, long time Seminole county resident passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at Unity North Hospital, Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 71. Gordon was born October 6, 1938 at Hedrick, Oklahoma to parents Charlie and Opal Williams. He moved to Seminole, Oklahoma 40 years ago from Hedrick, Oklahoma. Gordon was a mechanic and served in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne while in Germany, 101st Airborne in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and served two tours in Vietnam. He married Eloise Williams; September 5, 1975 she survives him of the home. Other survivors include one son, Justin Williams and daughter Mary Kay Williams all of the home.  He is also survived by 2 brothers, Jimmie Williams of Mexico and Charles Williams of Clinton, Oklahoma and 2 grandchildren, Jaylan and Jordan Williams. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents’ one sister; Charlene Williams, and one brother Clifford Williams. Graveside Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2010 at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma. Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate the services. Serving as casket bearers are: Chris Hawk, Glen Lena, Brandon O’Kelly, Don Rose, Charlie Rice and Billy Harris. Services under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
