Longtime Seminole resident Glen Tiger passed away on Sunday November 2, 2008 at Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 53. rnrnHe was born on July 26, 1955 in Seminole, Oklahoma to George William Tiger, Sr. and Ella Mae (Tanyan) Tiger. rnrnGlen is preceded in death by his father, George William Tiger, Sr., mother, Ella Mae (Tanyan) Tiger, three brothers, Clifford William Tiger, George William Tiger, Jr., Alan Tiger and one sister, Carolyn Tanyan Talamasey. rnrnGlen is survived by his wife Lahoma Ruth Tiger of the home, three sons; Robby and Sandy Tiger of Seminole, Jimsey and Angelina Tiger of Seminole and James Fixico of the home, six daughters; Jeannette and George Codd of Staten Island, New York, Tarena and Joshua Craig of Moore, Oklahoma, Toni and Michael Morgan of Seminole, Tiffany and Michael Parker of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Cheyenne Tiger of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Tisha Tiger of the home, two sisters, Leona Tiger of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Ruby Tanyan of Seminole, Oklahoma, five brothers: Curtis T. Harjo of Seminole, Oklahoma, Albert Tiger of Seminole, Oklahoma, Simon Harjo of Seminole, Oklahoma, Tony Harjo of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Clifton Tanyan of Seminole, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.rnrnThe body will be taken to 2102 Union Street at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5 for a wake service that will begin at 7:00 p.m.rnrnFuneral services will be held 2:00p.m.Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tiger Family Cemetery in Wolf with Jimsey Harjo and Rev. Dorsey Nero officiating. rnrnPallbearers will be: Sam Fixico, Robert Fixico, Zachary McCully, Joe Chupco, Richard Cole, Irvin Riley, Simon Harjo, and Albert Tiger.
