Glen Dale Carrell

Glen Dale Carrell, 82, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Friday, October 9, 2020 at his home in Seminole. Glen was born July 30, 1938 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Chambliss Julie Carrell and Zell Christine(Vineyard) Carrell.

Glen was the owner and operator of Carrell's Auto Supply in Seminole for many years. Glen also served in the Oklahoma National Guard for several years and attained the rank of E-5.

Glen married Janice (Scott) Carrell on August 2, 1962 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jan Carrell of the home, two sons Ted Carrell of Seminole, Oklahoma and Chris Jay Carrell of Shawnee, Oklahoma, one daughter; Sandy Dismukes and her husband Jeff of Norman, Oklahoma, one sister Diane Blakemore and her husband Odis of Healdton,Oklahoma, four grandchildren; Garison and Chandler Carrell, Beau Dismukes and Tony Gamble.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Glenda Carrell and Robert and Ann Carrell, and family members Earl and Bess Scott.

Memorial Services and Celebration of Glen's life, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the First Baptist Church at 420 Reid Street in Seminole, Oklahoma with Matt Pollock officiating, assisted by Rev. Nick Atyia.

Cremation and memorial services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
