Glen Dale Akerman, longtime Konawa area resident, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 near Sasakwa, OK at the age of 49.rnrnHe was born February 12, 1959 in Ada, Oklahoma to William J. "Billy" Akerman and Judith "Judy" (Dobbins) Akerman.rnrnGlen graduated from East Central Univeristy in Ada with a degree in Business Administration.rn rnHe was the owner & operator of Twister Drilling Company in Konawa.rnrnGlen is survived by his parents, Billy & Judy Akerman of Konawa;rnrngrandmother, Beloysa Dobbins of Konawa;rn rnone son, Ross Alan Akerman of Konawa; rnrnone brother, Allan Ray Akerman of Konawa; rnrnone sister, Sherry Annette Jesse of Konawa; rnrnone grandson, Lance William Akerman of Konawa and a host of other family and friends.rnrnA Rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa.rnrnGraveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Cemetery, west of Konawa with Father Matthew Brown, O.S.B. officiating.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.rn Funeral Information: April 22, 2008, 11:00 AM
