Gina Hurley

Gina Roseann Hurley of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away from this world on May 15, 2010 at the age of 43. The world received this loving and caring mother, fiancé, and friend on March 8, 1967 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gina was born to parents; Jackie Don and Barbara Ann (Sturmon) Harris. From the beginning Gina knew she was to become a nurse, she attended and graduated from the University of Maryland as a registered Medical Assistant and a Phlebotomist. She worked mainly in pediatrics because of her love for children. It did not matter if they were her own or friends, she took care of them all. She came as a stranger but leaves behind many friends. Gina was an avid fan of O U, U.F.C. and the Chicago Cubs Baseball. She enjoyed cooking her “famous” Lasagna for all. There was never an empty stomach when she cooked. Gina was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Don Harris, her biological mother, all her brothers and two sons. Gina leaves behind to cherish her memories: one son, Bo Jack Hurley of South Dakota, fiancé, Eric “Chief” Coley of Seminole, her “mom” and “dad” , Rosetta Coley and William Coley both of Seminole. Many special “brothers” and “sisters” she met during her short time with us. She will especially be missed by all her “buddies” at Stan’s, her co-workers at The Seminole Nation and abroad. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, Seminole, Oklahoma. Burial will take place at the New Coley Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Brent Hopper, James Crawford, Oscar Carpitche, Dion Wildcat, Michael Adams and John Brauning. Honorary Pallbearers will be her “girls” Minnie Hopper, Jenifer Crawford, Amanda Jo MacTavish, Stephanie Adams and Jerri Lynn Medlock. Music will be presented by special friend, Terry Yarbough We all love you and we miss you. Especially me “baby”. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole, Oklahoma.
