Gina Diane Craddock , age 48, was welcomed into heaven on April 15, 2022, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Pastor Bruce Sanders will officiate.
Gina was born on December 4, 1973, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to G. Carlene (Stokes) Craddock and Terry W. Craddock. She graduated from Moore High School and attended the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in Communications. She was very active in university activities including Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. After college, she worked for PAX-TV before joining Oklahoma City’s WKY-TV. After fourteen years in television communications, she began a career in oil and gas land management. Gina liked to travel, loved animals (especially dogs), had a natural-born sense of style, and liked to shop. She, also, loved spending time with her family and her friends. Her gregarious and caring personality was contagious to everyone who met her. Gina’s life did not come to an end on April 15, 2022, because she left so many wonderful memories for her family to cherish. This stunningly beautiful woman lived life to the fullest. The family will always remember her with the love and kindness that she brought into their lives.
She is survived by her mother, G. Carlene Craddock of Moore, Oklahoma; one brother, Terry W. Craddock, Jr. of Waverly, Nebraska; two nieces, Camryn Craddock and Cailey Craddock of Waverly, Nebraska; one nephew, Cason Craddock of Waverly, Nebraska; two aunts, Jean Stokes Taylor and husband, John E., of Pearland, Texas, and Donna (Stokes) of Blanchard, Oklahoma; nine cousins, Cinthia Brooks, Lisa Cowart, Sheri Pietrowicz, Sheila Bonin, Tonya Taylor, Lori Bonin, Tara Reeves, Randy Blackburn, and Kevin Bonin; and her dog, Toby.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl Stokes and Berniece (Stokes) Scroggins; two aunts, Charlotte (Stokes) Bonin and Joyce K. Stokes; and one uncle, Wayne Stokes.
