Longtime Seminole resident Gertie J. Harris passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 73.rnrnShe was born on August 14, 1934 in Polk County, Arkansas to Henry and Hattie (Payne) Harris. rnrnShe attended the First Church of God in Seminole. rnrnGertie is survived by two brothers: George Harris of Louisiana and Faye Harris of Woodward, Oklahoma, one sister, Cynthia Anne Gunter of Seminole and several nephews and nieces. rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Monday, April 14, 2008 with Tom Newell officiating.
