Geraldine Blalock, 82 Lifelong Seminole resident Geraldine Blalock passed away on September 4, 2010 in Seminole, Oklahoma the age of 82. She was born on August 1, 1928 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Floyd Wesley and Mollie Bell (Brooks) Moore. She was a graduate from Butner High School. She worked for Wrangler Manufacturing for 27 years as a Quality Control Supervisor and was a member of the Highway Baptist Church. Geraldine married Weldon Blalock on June 1, 1946 in Seminole, Oklahoma he survives her of the home, she also leaves to cherish her memories two sons and daughters-in-law: Randy and Pam Blalock of Seminole, Oklahoma and John and Karen Blalock of Mesa, Arizona, one brother, Bill Moore of Wewoka, Oklahoma and four sisters; Carmelita Grant of Okemah, Oklahoma, Wanda Hill of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Hazel Phelps of Arkansas and Melba Hail of Sulphur, Oklahoma. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mollie Moore, brother, Burman Moore and sister Jackie Bassham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Highway Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, Little, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be: Jake Blalock, Shane Robertson, Carl Therrien, Frankie Moore, Keith Cheatwood and Gary Grant. Honorary Bearers will be: Gage Robertson, Marty Sanders and Dean Anderson.
