George Penuel

Former Longtime Seminole resident, George Penuel went to live with the Lord on September 11, 2006 at the age of 84.rnHe was born on September 15, 1921 in Emprise City, Oklahoma to Melford and Katie Helen (Powell) Penuel. rnHe lived in Seminole for 65 years before moving to Shawnee in 1987. rn rnHe is survived by his wife Betty of Shawnee, Oklahoma, brother and sister-in-law; Leon and Joyce of Longview, Texas, one sister; Elizabeth Moss of Seminole, and one sister-in-law; Norma Penuel of Seminole, two step-sons; Don and his wife Linda rnGoger of Seminole and Roger Gober of Seminole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Susan Lewellen of Mustang, Oklahoma, LouAnne Langwell of Holdenville, Oklhoama, Cynthia Grove of New Braunsfels, Texas, Paul Penuel of Longview, Texas, Kenneth Penuel of Seminole, Texas. Grandchildren; Stacy Gober and Brian and his wife Lisa Gober, step grandchildren; Sara, Amy, Brenda, Linda and Ojeda.Great Grandchildren; Michael, Courtney, Brandy, Angela, Katrina, step grandchildren; Christina, Mathew, Alisha, Casey and Emily.rn rnHe is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dorothy Penuel, and two brothers; Kenneth and Walter Penuel.rn rnA memorial service is scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole.rn Funeral Information: September 15, 2006, 11:00 AM
