George Leland Morris, Jr., II, 83 year old longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Thursday, June 29, 2006 at his home in Seminole. He was born December 21, 1922 in Hopkins County, Texas to parents, George Leland Morris, Sr. and Artie Peral (Arnold) Morris.rnrnMr. Morris married Betty Geraldine (Collis) Morris, July 30, 1946 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He retired as a welder and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnMr. Morris is survived by his wife, Betty Morris of the home. One son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Shirley Morris of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnDaughter-in-law, Wanda Morris of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo brothers and sister-in-law, Odell and Joann Morris of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Carl Morris of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnFive grandchildren; Cindy Wilson, Dinette Wren, LeCarol Neil and Michael Morris all of Seminole and Terri Stastny of Prague, Oklahoma. Nine great grandchildren also survive as do a host of other family and friends.rnrnGeorge is preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, George Morris III, in 2006 and Gerald Morris in 2003.rnrnMemorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2006 at Trinity Baptist Church of Seminole, with Rev.
