Longtime Seminole county resident, George Wallace Bear passed away on September 26, 2006 at the age of 43.rnHe was born on May 8, 1963 to Wiley and Rachel Marie (Larney) Bear in Wewoka, Oklahoma. rnrnHe worked for Wrangler for several years until he became disabled. He was a graduate of Strothers High School in 1981.rnrnHe is survived by his mother, Rachel Bear of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Wiley Bear of Mississippi, one son, Cristoff Bear of Seminole, two daughters; Aletha Wise of Seminole and Keisha Bear of Shawnee.rnThree brothers; Wiley "Blue" Bear, Jr. of Shawnee, Tim Bear of Shawnee, and David Walters of Shawnee, three sisters; Marsha Bear of Shawnee, Martha Harjo of Holdenville, and Brenda Bear of Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Geraldine Little of Seminole, two grandchildren; Tamia and Mandy Primeaux of Seminole, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his adopted father, Thomas Bear and a great nephew, Zackary Johnson.rnrnFuneral Services will be held 2:00pm, Friday, September 29, 2006 at Snake Creek Indian Baptist Church with a burial to follow at the family cemetery.rnrnPallbearers will be; Mike Bear, Roman Bear, Joseph Wayne Burgess, Shawn Lefthand, Tracy Haney and Eric Haney.rnrnHonorary Bearers will be; Stacey Haney, Vincent Haney, Johnson Hulbutta, Jimpsey Hulbutta, Rick Alford, Cecil Bear, Leonard Harjo, Jeremiah Johnson, Joe Johnson, Gerald and Roy Williams.
