Funeral services for Longtime Seminole Resident George Dennis Allen are scheduled for 10:00am, Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy and Anita Moreland officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma.rnrnGeorge passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 in Bossier City, Louisiana at the age of 61. rnrnHe was born on August 13, 1946 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Archie Abbott and Beulah Muriel Allen. He was a truck driver for many years and was currently working for Western Flyer Express in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. rnrnHe is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda and Daryl Odom of the home, Wanda and Gilbert Ross of Seminole, Oklahoma Julie Gamble and David Yockey of Tecumseh, Victoria Allen of Ada, Oklahoma and Tiffany Allen of Purcell, Oklahoma, three sons and daughter-in-law: George and Miranda Allen of Oklahoma, Clinton Allen of Oklahoma and Shane Allen of Purcell, Oklahoma. One brother: Rickey Rose of Louisiana and sister, Bobbie Jerrnigan of Enid, Oklahoma.rnrnHe is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Muriel Rose, father Archie Abbott, sister, Sharon Kay Ledbetter, one grandson, Kenneth Eugene Colvin and grandparents, Mattie and George Allen.rnrnPallbearers will be: Bruce Finley, Raymond Ward, Chad Larkey, George Wayne Allen, David Houck Jr., George Lozer, and Joe Don Finley. rnrnHonorary Pallbearers will be: Wayne Allen, Roy Allen and Kenneth ?Sarge?
