Geneva "Jean" (Seay) Johnson

June 29, 1931 — May 28, 2019

Geneva “Jean” (Seay) Johnson, age 87 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa.  Rev. Steve Littrell will officiate, and burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery. Jean was born June 29, 1931 in Konawa to Walter Lee Seay and Mary "Audra" (Sparks) Seay.  She was a 1949 Konawa High School graduate, and she received a Master’s Degree from East Central University of Ada, Oklahoma, and became a Special Education Instructor.  Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Konawa.  She was an avid reader, and she loved her family very much. She is survived by two sons, Richard Johnson and wife, Carol Ann of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Steven Johnson of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Audra Lynn Cummings of Phoenix, Arizona, and Karen Sue Waller of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Todd and husband, Mark, Rory Waller, Clinton Johnson and wife, Amy, Andrea Uhl and husband, Jonathan, Kelsey Cummings, Kassandra Cummings, Jennifer Johnson, and Katherine Cabrena and husband, Alberto; eight great grandchildren, John Cummings, Nathan Johnson, Devon Johnson, Sean Todd, Ian Todd, Collin Todd, Vala Jean Uhl, and Avery Uhl; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Audra Seay, and one sister, Joann Lewis. Funeral Information: June 1, 2019, 1:00 PM Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa located at 200 S.
