Geneva Jean (Wheeler) Davis, Macomb, Oklahoma resident, passed away at her home August 17, 2020 at the age of 66.
Geneva was born August 21, 1953 in Seminole, Oklahoma to James LeRoy and Verna Lee (Algood) Wheeler. She graduated from Tecumseh High School and went on to beauty college. Geneva was a hair dresser for many years. On January 28, 1985, Geneva married Louis B. Davis.
Geneva is survived by her husband, Louis B. Davis of the home, step-daughter Shaina Davis Johnson, step-granddaughter Shainla Johnson, nieces Tanya Gunter, Norma Melton, Jimmie Fluitt and Tina O’Dell, great nieces Mandy Phillips and Devin Fluitt, great nephews Reece Melton, Travis O’Dell, Kelly O’Dell, Bailey Gunter, Derek Fluitt, Riley Melton, and J.T. Gunter.
Geneva is preceded in death by her parents James and Verna Wheeler, late husband Geary VanMeter, sisters JoAnn Lucas and Teresa Adams, and nephew Jay Bray.
Graveside service is set for 10:00 am, Thursday August, 20, 2020 at Vamoosa Cemetery. Bill Chesser will officiate. Geneva’s great nephews will be pallbearers.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
